Southern Roots Food & Music Fest is seeking great local restaurants and food trucks to serve delicious Southern cuisine to our hungry festival attendees. If you’re interested in applying to be a food vendor, please fill out the form below, and we will contact you once we receive your application.

2020 Food Vendor Agreement*
This agreement is between The Garden City Convention & Visitors Bureau and person(s) below known as the Vendor. The Vendor will be subject to the following rules. Please read carefully.

1. All food vendors are required to have a Food Handler’s Card with and a “Temporary Food Service License” from Chatham County Health Department. Copies of the food licenses must be submitted along with the booth fees and signed contract.
2. All vendors are responsible for collection and/or payment of all application sales taxes to the Georgia Department of Revenue.
3. Vendors must provide their own equipment i.e. tables chairs extension cords and displays. Outlets may be several feet away (not at your booth site) and cords need to be taped down through common walkways.
4. This is an outdoor event: minimal accommodation will be made in case of inclement weather. We do not refund for circumstances beyond our control.
5. Booths spaces are in a 10 x 10 area on pavement and tents require weights (no stakes).
6. All vendors MUST have liability insurance showing the Garden City Convention & Visitors Bureau as an additional insurer. A copy SHALL be included in your application. All paperwork MUST be submitted no later than August 1, 2020 before 5:00PM.
7. Booth set up begins at 9:00 am and must be completed and ready for sales at 2:00 pm and remain set up until the end of the event at 10:00 pm. VENDORS WILL NOT BEGIN SET UP UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY A CVB REPRESENTATIVE TO DIRECT YOU TO YOUR ASSIGNED BOOTH LOCATION. A MAP SHOWING YOUR LOCATION WILL BE EMAILED 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE EVENT. WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION, PLEASE WRITE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS CLEARLY. Upon completion of the event, the vendor is responsible for clean-up and trash removal of their area. Failure to do will result in additional an additional $100.00 fee and rejection of future events.
8. The Garden City Convention & Visitors Bureau will not be responsible for lost/stolen items, accidents, personal injuries of damaged equipment.
9. There is no guarantee of exclusivity. Space is on first-come, first-serviced basis and is at the discretion of the CVB. The CVB reserves the right to limit sales to ONLY those items the vendor lists on this application.

Food Service Permit*
All food vendors MUST have either a Mobile Food Service Permit or a Temporary Food Service Permit. Permit applications can be processed through the Chatham County Health Department at https://bit.ly/2WITfsP. There will be a $60.00 processing fee and your Permit Application must be filed two weeks prior to the event.
